A Heart Shattering Performance
Three Lotus Flowers, performed at the to Face Festival of Solo Theatre, as part of Voices From the Edge, reduces the grumpy gay critic to tears.
In a heartfelt review for Fresh From The Stalls, James Waygood AKA The Grumpy Gay Critic says 'Kay Adsheads writing is 'beautiful...devastating...it made me crumble ' and describes Eugenia Low's performance as 'Heart Shattering'.

Mama Quilla Gets ACE Grant For Singing Stones & The Veil
Following our funding Campaigns we have finally succeeded in getting in securing our Arts Council England grant! Which Means productions of The Veil and Singing Stones will go ahead.
The Veil will tour Bradford, Manchester and Leeds and The Singing Stones will have a three week run at the Arcola theatre London.
'The Singing Stones' at the Arcola - Funding Campaign
This year Mama Quilla were awarded a conditional grant from the Arts Council of England to produce a three-week run of The Singing Stones, a triad of plays exploring the role of women in the Arab revolutions, at the Arcola Theatre in February 2015. However this was a conditional award requiring us to raise a further £15,000. Despite having successfully obtained awards from the Peggy Ramsay Foundation and the Unity Theatre Trust we still needed to raise more and so embarked several funding initiatives including a crowd funding campaign. Through which we raised £4,025.
The funds raised from this campaign will go towards our set design costs, marketing/advertising costs and the costs of producing an animation sequence based on Middle Eastern graphic novels for the play's ending
